The Moles Charitable Fund, Inc.
A 501(c)(3) Charitable Tax-deductible Corporation
The Moles Charitable Fund, Inc. (“MCF”) was created in 2018 to further The Moles’ long-held mission, “that the youth of our country, including women, minority and disadvantaged engineering students along with engineering students who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces be encouraged to make careers and participate in Heavy Construction by [establishing] a multi-purpose program of education in cooperation with engineering colleges and other associations.” Scholarships will continue to be distributed by The Moles, either through the auspices of the New York Community Trust, or directly via the MCF, to deserving junior-year students in order to continue their study of Engineering in the Heavy Construction Industry.
Due to the generosity of our Moles Members, The Moles have distributed over $2 million in scholarships to students in the past decade alone. Recognizing the significant increase in cost to attend college, current fundraising efforts will allow for increasing the amount of total annual scholarships awarded; expanding the number of schools involved (Drexel, Northeastern University and Wentworth Institute of Technology were added in 2020); instituting new and exciting education initiatives promoting the heavy construction industry at participating schools, and securing funds to guarantee the long-term continuation of scholarship grants.
We are asking every Moles member to participate in this scholarship fund-raising effort by making a donation to the MCF and remember that corporate matching programs may potentially leverage your donation. The MCF is financially managed by Morgan Stanley, whose advisors are prepared to work with members interested in annual or a structured giving program. For members interested in making a long-term impact, please consult with your tax advisor on how to incorporate The MCF into your estate planning.
Donations should be made payable directly to The Moles Charitable Fund Inc and mailed to 50 Chestnut Ridge Road, Suite 102, Montvale, NJ 07645. The MCF is a 501(c)(3) corporation, thus all donations are 100% tax deductible and acknowledged with a letter.
