In the eighty years since thirty-two men first got together to form a group calling themselves The Moles, their foresight has forged what Moles members continue to support today: assisting and encouraging the youth of our country to pursue careers in heavy construction. With the ever-rising costs associated with obtaining an education, The Moles encourage its members to give generously to the Moles Charitable Fund, a 501(c)3, non-profit organization.
In 2022, The Moles Charitable Fund (“MCF”) launched a fundraising initiative, “Fund the Future”, to rejuvenate and expand the scholarships provided to junior and senior students at twenty-two participating colleges and universities who have expressed an interest in pursuing a career in tunneling, heavy construction and the engineering and associated professions related thereto. The MCF Board’s goal is to increase the value of and/or the number of scholarships available to each participating school as the endowment and earnings therefrom allow. In conjunction with that, the MCF is also working to increase the number of participating schools.
Whether you are looking to make a pledge to “Fund the Future”, make a one-time donation in memory of a mentor, colleague or friend, or name the Moles Charitable Fund as a beneficiary, know that your donation is greatly appreciated and will further the MCF’s outreach to develop the next generation of leaders in our industry.
